ACAP III responds to high profile incidents: • A terrorist attack on the Sardar Daud Khan Hospital, a military hospital in Kabul, left 30 people dead and wounded over 70. No victims were eligible for ACAP III services. • ACAP III assessed victims of a large-scale attack on the Police Headquarters in Kabul that killed 22 people and injured 119. Twentytwo people were deemed eligible for ACAP III services.

Highlights: • Held 52 immediate assistance distribution events in various parts of the country. A total of 427 immediate assistance packages were delivered reaching 3,970 beneficiaries (2,032 males, 1,938 females). • Enrolled 711 beneficiaries (433 males, 278 females) in psychosocial counselling. Milestone Download Center. Counselling is ongoing for 558 beneficiaries (308 males, 250 females). • Provided physical therapy visits and referrals to 406 beneficiaries (285 males, 121 females).

• Delivered 12 economic reintegration assistance packages tailored to victims’ and families’ needs benefitting 115 victims and families (55 males, 60 females). • Signed a Letter of Agreement (LoA) with the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Martyrs and the Disabled (MoLSAMD). Continued follow-up with the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) for signatures on proposed LoA.

• An evaluation consultant was identified to conduct the mid-term review. The consultant will arrive in country in April and will conduct four weeks of field work. • The tripartite quarterly review of progress was held with MoLSAMD, ACAP III and USAID.
