This is an excellent product and reasonably priced. I have lots of piano VST's, and this one is not the best. That accolade-for the moment-still rests with Ivory Pianos II, despite its heavy handed ILok requirements, which I detest.

I think the question that a buyer of piano plug-ins has to ask is whether he or she will actually use the product, as there are so many available, each promising some new recording or sound technique. The sound of this software is actually quite good, provided you have decent monitors (this is critical) and a controller that has some weight to the keys.

There are many things to like, but the upright piano is a standout. The grands are good, but no match for the high end stuff like Ivory. I particularly like the software's ability to allow the player to record whatever he wants right there and then. No DAW required, just hit the record button, and the playing is stored-along with all the presets for the patch-within the program. You can then send the MIDI file anywhere you want. I think for that feature alone, and the typically discounted price, that feature is worth the price.

I will use this for my live show, it sounds gorgeous! I'd like to add that there are certain VSTs such as Ivory II that sound very nice but take up a huge imprint on your cpu. This is not taxing on most computers and this company took a lot of pains to get the engine that produces all the nuances such as sympathetic resonance.
