Ubiart Framework Direct

So in case some of you didn't know, the UbiArt Framework is a video game engine specifically designed to scan an artist's work into the game engine and work with the drawings themselves as part of the framework for the video game. Beautiful examples of games used with this engine are Rayman Origins and Legends. And Child of Light. Amazing games in their own right, but particularly in the art department. I am a big fan of this engine for obvious reasons and I can't help but to imagine some of the old school Nintendo franchises redone using something similar.

If Nintendo made their own version of a game engine like this, we could see some remakes of older games or new spin-offs inspired by the 8-bit and 16-bit era that look something like this: F-Zero SNES Remake: Zelda II: the Adventure of Link (NES) Remake: Mother 3 remake Super Mario World remake Zelda: A Link tot he Past remake Kirby Super Mario Bros. 3 Star Fox 64 Super Metroid Donkey Kong Country Sonic the Hedgehog: Street Fighter II: Mega Man X: another Super Mario World: and many more.

With technology and art merging in this day of age, I can't help but to think of this as a reality. When I was younger, I would imagine new video game ideas in my head as cartoons or pieces of moving art like this. All artwork credited to Orioto. Amazing stuff. In the UBIart video above, the artist is drawing on a tablet. The same process can be done with paper or any other medium that can be captured by camera or scanner (digital, paint, clay, crayon, feces). Later in the video the work as a whole is broken into multiple pieces and then each piece is animated on its own. This has been done since the dawn of animation. The animation image is layered over the scrolling or stationary background image. Sometimes the whole animation cell or character is drawn frame by frame. An example of this would be fantasia.

Sometimes the character itself is composed of multiple layers. An example of this would be scooby doo. In scooby doo the head will move and the body will be still. If part of the background is interactive, it will stick out like a sore thumb. Check out the shadow layer watch for interactive elements that are part of the background and the talking heads on still bodies. The low res doesn't help. Eset Nod32 Full Crack.

I'm gonna have to check out Bayonetta 2 soon, as Child of Light is my goty so far for me. It was always my plan, but the last three or four 'OMG!

Wii U games I played were just huge puffs of smoke the fanboys have been blowing up everyone's ass here on the forums. So I've been hesitant since the actual games haven't been matching the testimony. But at least in the case with this one, I played the original so I know what I'm getting into. But the same can be said for SM3DW, so.

All Mike Aguirre's (Orioto) art in ot btw. Click to expand.Apparently, Valiant Hearts is an UbiART Framework game I didn't know of. Just didn't know it was their art engine or Ubisoft even.
